– The National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals (N4A) has selected RIT Executive Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Jacqueline Nicholson as President for the 2022-23 membership year.
“I could not be more grateful to serve as the 47th President of N4A, the global leader for academic & student-athlete development practitioners,” stated Nicholson. “N4A continues to be a well-established and well-loved organization that consists of extremely talented professionals, who are dedicated to impacting the lives of student-athletes daily. Our theme this year will be Vision, Integrity & Perseverance (VIP), we will be focused on giving our membership a VIP experience throughout the year. N4A continues to be thought leaders in collegiate athletics and I am looking forward to serving as president of an organization that has been a pillar in my professional career.”
Nicholson takes over for Ashton Henderson, executive associate AD for championship resources at Michigan State University, who will move into the role of Immediate Past President. Additionally, Kayleigh McCauley-Sayer, director of member services at Move United and Dr. Brian Russell, senior associate director of athletics, sports administration and student-athlete development at University of Illinois; will join the N4A Officer ranks as the new 1st and 2nd Vice President, respectively.
The 2022-23 N4A Board of Directors will also include: Spencer Bonahoom, assistant AD for the MAP Center at Purdue University Fort Wayne; Marissa Edwards, assistant athletic director at UTSA; Dr. Stephen Fuqua, associate director of athletics, academic services at University of Illinois; Jessica Goerke, deputy athletic director, interim senior woman administrator, ICA at UC Santa Barbara; Christine Jackson, senior associate AD/ student-athlete support services at Mississippi State University; Antwan Joseph, associate AD for student-athlete support services at UAB; Dr. Joe Luckey, senior associate AD/student-athlete support services at University of Cincinnati; Meredith McCall, director of football academics at the University of Utah; Dr. Ron Moses, executive senior associate AD, internal operations and athlete welfare at Old Dominion University; Shanika Mungin, director of educational enrichment, learning services at University of Illinois; Liz Reyes, assistant athletics director – student-athlete development at University of Illinois; Kristin Rusboldt, associate AD for student-athlete support services & diversity & intercultural engagement at UNC Greensboro; Kelsi Schaer, director of student-athlete development at University of Pittsburgh; Dr. Ryan Westman, director, academic and student-athlete support services & compliance officer at New York University; Shelby Williams, associate director of athletics staff & student-athlete development; Jenny Womack, assistant director at North Carolina State University and Angela Wyss, senior director of student-athlete academic support services at Xavier University.
